All New Banzai Scholarship Opportunity

According to the State Higher Education Executive Officers Association (SHEEO) “students who receive aid are more likely to persist and graduate from their institutions and are more likely to graduate on time.” Not only that, but teaching high schoolers about finances before they have to jump head first into them is vital to their success. So we thought, why not bring those two powerful aids together?

Banzai has always strived to maintain a genuine commitment to supporting financial wellness in peoples of all ages; this opportunity for first-hand impact is thrilling, to say the least. 

Banzai Life Literacy Scholarship Awards

Banzai will award five $2,000 scholarships to students who demonstrate a commitment to financial literacy and education. Whether you’re planning to attend a college, university, or trade school, this scholarship is designed to support your educational journey.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Banzai Life Literacy Scholarship, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age and a current junior or senior in high school.
• Plan on enrolling full- or part-time at an accredited college, university or a trade/vocational/technical school in the United States by the 2029-2030 academic year.
• In addition to these requirements, applicants must also demonstrate their financial literacy knowledge through Banzai's interactive platform by completing at least two Banzai games. NOTE: To play through two Banzai games, you and one of your teachers will need to create a free account at Banzai.org. (Proof will be required.)

How to Apply:

1. Sign up or login via clever or using your teacher's class code.
2. Play through & complete at least two of Banzai’s free games. 
3. Write an original 350-500 word essay on why financial literacy is important or a plan to use what is learned in the future. (Hint: Our Scholarships Game can make writing this essay a breeze!)

Students must submit their name/username, teacher’s email, and essay into the application linked below. Students must belong to a teacher in order to apply.
