Banzai Has Been Named as a Finalist for the Edtech Awards 2025

That’s right—The EdTech Awards 2025 have officially announced their finalists and winners for their 15th year, and Banzai is proud to be named a finalist!

This year’s honorees were chosen from a global pool of nominees and judged on criteria including pedagogical effectiveness, impact, clarity, support, and long-term value. The awards are broken into three major categories:

  1. The EdTech Cool Tool Awards
  2. The EdTech Leadership Awards
  3. The EdTech Trendsetter Awards

Together, these categories highlight not just the products making waves in education, but also the people and ideas behind them. "The future of learning is being shaped right now," said Victor Rivero, Editor-in-Chief of EdTech Digest. "If there’s one field ready to embrace and lead through change, it’s this one."

Digital Citizenship as a Finalist for the EdTech Cool Tool Awards

Banzai was excited to hear that our very own product—Digital Citizenship—was named as a finalist for 2025. This course includes a variety of resources: articles, activities, games, printed materials, etc., all designed with the online safety of today’s youth in mind.

This Banzai course offers 6–12 hours of teaching materials and activities that guide students through essential topics like internet safety basics, the impact of technology and social media on mental and physical health, online privacy and security, texting and driving, cyberstalking, etc. Students also learn how to recognize harmful behaviors—both in themselves and others—and take action to prevent and eliminate cyberbullying. One valued teacher who uses the course shared, “I think it is great for the kids to make choices and see that those choices have consequences. Keeps them engaged in the material!”

We’re incredibly grateful to this year’s judges for recognizing the positive impact this product has on students’ lives. We also want to acknowledge the educators who put our resources into practice and the banks and credit unions that sponsor them—they’re the true force behind our product. Without their expertise and commitment, our tools wouldn’t reach nearly as many learners or make the difference they do.
