Financial Literacy Program Expanded To 50 Wisconsin Schools

BROOKFIELD, WI—North Shore Bank announced on Thursday that 50 schools across the state will now have access to expanded resources through the community bank's financial literacy program, according to a news release.
North Shore Bank quadrupled the number of schools that can participate, as the program has shown significant upticks in student financial literacy. From the 2020-2021 school year so far, average test scores have already increased by 12 percent in the schools North Shore Bank has supported to date.
This expanded initiative stems from North Shore Bank's long-term partnership with the Banzai Financial Education Program which provides financial literacy curriculum to schools across the nation.
Wisconsin students participating in the North Shore Bank program focus on banking, budgeting, credit and general finance using educational software that provides a complete personal finance supplemental unit and real-world examples as learning tools.
North Shore Bank donates five dollars towards that classroom's necessities. Local school includes Christian Education Leadership Academy in Waukesha County.
