Middle School Students Learning About Financial Responsibility

Some Warren County students are learning about financial responsibility at an early age.

Banzai, an online program that teaches a variety of things like budgeting and how to handle credit cards, is being used by schools in Warren County.

Students at both South Warren Middle School and Warren East Middle School use the program

“They can start planning now for their futures because I think sometimes they may graduate high school and not have the background that they need. It’s good to develop that early so they have the skills they need to move on,” said Sharon Collins, Family and Consumer Science Teacher at Warren East Middle School.

This program is free to schools through a partnership with Citizens First Bank. Employees visit the schools to teach students about banking.
