MidSouth Bank is making a national award-winning financial literacy program available at no cost to Baton Rouge students.

Banzai is a web-based program in which students get their own accounts and work through assignments based on real life to help them learn to manage their personal finances, a news release said.
Skills learned include paying bills; balancing a budget; and managing unexpected expenses such as parking tickets, interest charges and overdraft fees. The program also introduces auto loans, bank statements, entertainment costs, savings and more.
